Use six as the number the store is selling. The English store page, the Early Access FAQ, and the Japanese page at wilddog.jp all say a maximum of six players. The FAQ says friends divide the work, and that you can hire part-time staff and play solo. Spatial voice chat is on: distance and walls change how voices sound.
The Games Press release dated 6 October 2026 says Players: 1–10 (online co-op; up to 6 recommended). That sentence conflicts with the store. This page keeps it so a group that read the press release is not surprised, and it does not treat 10 as the store's cap. The Day 1 notes also mention invitation codes, voice-chat mute and push-to-talk applying when you join, and error text when a connection fails. They do not restate a player cap.
Roles the store suggests splitting: ingredient preparation, cooking, serving, customer service, and cleaning. Dish-clearing staff, added in v0.1.48.17626, take dishes, trays, and empty drink bottles.
The Steam store and the official site say up to six players, while the 6 October 2026 Games Press release says 1 to 10 with six recommended.
